I'm Cait Beth, a 26-year-old living in New York City, working full-time as a Sr. Analyst of Strategy & Transformation, part-time as the budding business owner of BLOOMED by Cait.

I'm currently learning, and re-learning how to bloom in my own life; overcoming challenges as they're thrown my way, restarting from scratch when I need to. I'm here to share some of my journey, my struggles and my triumphs, and everything that sprouts along the way.

One of those sprouts is my art. What began as a stress-reliever and little hobby, has grown to be so much more for me. About two years ago, I began burning wood in my free time - an art form called pyrography. What's so special about pyrography, is that I can completely lose track of time, so focused in what I'm working on. It takes an incredible amount of focus and patience, two skills I've always found challenging...so what better way to practice?

 

In addition to pyrography, I paint, embroider, screen print, tie dye, and have tried out just about any other form of art that's out there. I'm always looking to learn new skills and try new mediums.
